New Fast Track and Branch Repeater Courses Coming Soon
There are two new classroom training courses coming soon:

  • CBR-201-1 Citrix Branch Repeater 6.0 Administration – Releasing at the end of December 2011, this course introduces students to an overview of Citrix Branch Repeater 6.0 and prepares them with the knowledge needed to execute this service delivery optimization and control solution for branch and mobile users.
  • CMB-207-1 Citrix Desktop Virtualization Fast Track – Releasing in early January 2012, this fast-paced classroom training course covers select content from training courses CXA-206 and CXD-202, and provides the foundation necessary for students to effectively centralize and manage desktops and applications in the datacenter and deliver them as a service to users anywhere.

    Please note: There is limited availability for CALCs to schedule these courses. If you are interested in running one or both of these courses, please contact your Citrix Account Manager.

  • Forudsætninger

    Before taking this course, Citrix recommends that learners have the following:

    • Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols and an understanding of the OSI model
    • Experience with network devices, networking protocols and aspects of application and site architecture
    • Moderate exposure to UNIX or Linux
    • Exposure to basic systems administration concepts, including logging, software upgrade procedures and high availability operations
    • Familiarity with web server software
    • Knowledge of network security threats and site protection concepts
