Recruitment campaign will extend the company’s ability
to deliver advanced learning
and skills development in leading vendor
technologies.
Global Knowledge, Europe’s largest and most
successful provider of IT training and skills development services
is embarking on a pan-European recruitment drive to meet growing
demand for its scheduled and tailored courses in Cisco and
Microsoft solutions and technologies.
Delivering a wide range of courses through 40
training centres in 12 countries and in multiple languages, Global
Knowledge is the leading learning solutions partner for both Cisco
Systems and Microsoft in Europe. With demand for skills development
in both vendors’ technologies growing rapidly, Global Knowledge is
now planning to recruit a total of 35 additional instructors with
experience in developing or delivering sales training programmes in
these environments.

The company has immediate opportunities for
both Cisco-and Microsoft- dedicated learning professionals. In the
Cisco business these range from instructing the product-related
Cisco Sales Expert (CSE)/Cisco Sales Associate (CSA) courses,
through teaching core sales skills, to specialist courses aimed at
advanced sales techniques and selling to market verticals.

in the Microsoft arena. “We have identified a need to recruit
multiple Microsoft knowledge specialists to focus on key technology
areas including; security, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and Active
Directory”, says Jeffrey Smithies, Global Knowledge EMEA Product
Director for Microsoft. Significantly, Global Knowledge is
also recruiting for the key the role of European Microsoft
Architect. This will need to be a highly knowledgeable and
experienced individual who will be able to assist in developing and
continually redefining Global Knowledge’s role as the leading
partner in Europe within the Microsoft Learning Solutions
programme. They will create relationships with key Microsoft
personnel and identify content development, support, re-delivery
and customer engagement opportunities that Global Knowledge can
develop as valuable commercial propositions”.
