Global Knowledge Names Melad Ghabrial as Director of Worldwide
Product Management
New position supports Global Knowledge’s evolving training
business, growing product portfolio, and expanding geographic
presence
Cary (USA)/Wokingham (UK)/Cairo (Egypt) – April 13, 2010 –
Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and business skills
training, announces the appointment of Melad Ghabrial as Director
of Worldwide Product Management. In this new position, Mr. Ghabrial
will be responsible for working with the executive team and
regional product management to evolve and execute Global
Knowledge’s comprehensive product strategy across its worldwide
operations. He will also focus on strengthening Global Knowledge’s
relationships with its leading technology partners including Cisco,
Microsoft, and VMware as well as developing new relationships to
enhance its IT and business skills offering.

Mr. Ghabrial brings a depth of experience in systems engineering
and product management gained over 25 years in senior positions
with leading technology companies. As the founder of Synergy
Professional Services in 1998, Mr. Ghabrial and his team built the
company into a leading provider of IT skills in the Middle East.
When Global Knowledge acquired Synergy in 2007, Ghabrial continued
to successfully lead Global Knowledge MEA operations, including the
launch of a thriving business skills curriculum.
