Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Product Suite
February 27th 2008
Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and Business
training, has launched a portfolio of certification-based Microsoft
Boot Camps and skills-building courses for IT professionals seeking
training on transitioning to Microsoft Windows Server 2008. Boot
Camp enhancements, courses with expanded hands-on labs, and
instructors with current real-world experience are among the IT
training differentiators that will help students and enterprises
with the migration to the latest Microsoft products. The Boot
Camps, in particular, are designed to provide continuity from one
generation of Microsoft certifications to the
next.
“Each of the Windows Server 2008 certification Boot Camps
are intensive exam preparation courses in which students will
engage in focused, topical and lab-based study, and take simulated
exams using Transcender®, the industry-leading test preparation
product,” said John Voorhees, Vice President, Product Management,
at Global Knowledge. “The Boot Camps include all the exams needed
to become certified, along with one free retake voucher for each
exam, if needed.”
The instructors focus on helping students understand the
structure of the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) exams, offering
effective test-taking strategies, and identifying strengths and
weaknesses prior to taking the exams. As a final component to
preparation, instructors guide students through a concentrated,
rapid-fire exam review session called a power hour.
